This is my publishing, connecting, consulting & communications firm. I am a professional speaker, writer, award-winning author, executive coach, and consultant. My sweet spot is teaching others how to Live, Work & Connect at a Higher Level™ and be more intentional with their networking. I want to show them ways they can stop wasting time, money and energy and attract more powerful relationships, referrals and results in their careers, businesses, and social lives.
Up until 2013 I also managed and provided mentoring and business development services to a hand-picked network of top notch freelancers and consultants. Companies and organizations in all industries relied on me for my insight and targeted referrals to the independent professionals.
1989 – 2001 Patti DeNucci, Business Writer & Marketing Communications Consulting
I wrote marketing communications materials, from jazzy ad copy and snappy taglines to annual reports and techy spec sheets. I also handled media relations for some of my favorite clients. I worked with companies of all sizes and in a wide range of industries: high tech, retail, education, non-profit, healthcare, manufacturing, construction — you name it.
1983-1989 BJW Marketing Communications, Inc.
I was a copywriter and account manager at this boutique advertising and PR firm, one of the first in the world (yes, the world!) to specialize in serving the emerging high tech industry. It was like Mad Men for high tech — only we were a mostly-female team and drank a lot less! Since it was still the 80s, we initially used IBM Selectric typewriters. How things have changed!
1981 – 1983 Columbia Scientific Industries, Inc.
I was the marketing services clerk and assistant to the vice president of marketing. This was kind of a stodgy, male-dominated company. They needed help! I yearned to rewrite all their marketing materials and take over the PR. Wasn’t going to happen. I didn’t stay long!
